Agrimetrics announces appointment of two non-executive directors
The board-level expertise of Agrimetrics has received a boost following the appointment of two NED’s from outside of the agricultural sector
Harpenden, 12 January 2020: The board of Agrimetrics has expanded following the appointment of two new non-executive directors. Anna-Klara Lindskog is a FMCG Executive with experience in the Food and Beverages, Healthcare and Beauty sectors. She began her career at Proctor & Gamble and is currently Nestle’s Business Executive Officer for South East Europe. Anna-Klara has an MBA from the University of Cambridge and is a graduate of Nestle’s Leadership Development programme.
Anna-Klara is joined by Alina Lourie, who holds a portfolio of board positions, including: The Royal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Royal Pharmaceutical Society and Manchester University Press. Prior to that, Alina spent 15 years as a Director at Thomson Reuters. She has helped introduce innovative technology solutions into both the medical and legal sectors – overcoming resistance in both cases.
“Alina and Anna-Klara bring with them substantial commercial expertise gained in some of the World’s leading organisations,” says Dr David Flanders, Agrimetrics CEO. “In the coming weeks, we’ll launch the agri-food sector’s first Data Marketplace. Our board will be vital in driving the success of this game-changing platform, which will have industry-wide impact.”

The appointments of Anna-Klara and Alina follow the recent announcement of former Microsoft Director, Dr Matthew Smith, joining Agrimetrics as Chief Product Officer.
“Traditionally, agriculture has struggled to attract top talent from outside industries,” continues Dr Flanders. “These appointments are testament to the growing sophistication of the UK agri-tech sector, and the growing desire of experts to work for innovative companies who are working towards a sustainable future.”
