Agrimetrics builds Data Marketplace for UK Government
Agrimetrics is building a state-of-the-art Data Marketplace for the UK Government’s Cabinet Office, as an important step towards developing a Data Marketplace across government. Operating as a front door to discover, access, and share data in a secure, legal, and ethical way, this new product enables government agencies to improve efficiency and optimise their performance.
Built using Agrimetrics’s Data Marketplace SaaS solution, this new product for the Cabinet Office will be a key component of the government’s roadmap for digital and data services, already sharing 90 essential data assets across eight government departments.
Agrimetrics CEO David Flanders said, “Agrimetrics is honoured to have been trusted by the Cabinet Office to build and deliver a Data Marketplace fit for modern government. Our rich history of development of best-in-class technology, particularly our own Agri-food Data Marketplace and the Data Services Platform for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, means we are well placed to deliver this sophisticated and secure Data Marketplace for the Cabinet Office.”
