Simon Hunt

Simon has worked in the field of technology throughout his career.  He was a web developer in the days when the internet was still something of a novelty, building an e-commerce platform amongst other projects, until the end of the dot-com boom when his career path steered more towards IT infrastructure and operations.  

In 2018 Simon had a light-bulb moment and realised that he missed the creative side of software development and decided to return to his roots. The development ecosystem had changed a lot since those early days, but he quickly picked it back up and was soon building complex systems with cloud infrastructure. He joined the team at Agrimetrics as a software engineer in December 2021 building on two recent developer roles.

Simon has always been interested in the sciences and maths and has a BSc in Physics from Newcastle University.
