In 2015, during the course of his employment at Rothamsted Research, Pierre also received his PhD from the University of Reading. Before Rothamsted Research, he worked for one year at INRA (French National Institute for Agricultural Research) on the SiriusQuality crop model following a 6-month internship during his graduation year in 2007 at ISIMA (College of Engineering in Computer Science and Information Technologies).
In his spare time, Pierre enjoys gardening and baking.
