It’s official: Agrimetrics is One to Watch!
Agrimetrics has been selected as one of the Top 21 ‘#onetowatch’
East Anglian businesses organised by Cofinitive.
The awards recognise people and companies that are setting the standards in innovation and entrepreneurship across the globe.
The awards were presented during an invitation-only event at the Bradfield Centre, Cambridge where the winners had the opportunity to speak to a hand-selected audience of investors, professional services, entrepreneurs, developers and other relevant businesses.
CEO, David Flanders was delighted to receive the award for Agrimetrics explaining how important its global partnerships were in delivering a truly global vision. In his acceptance speech he asked what do Airbus, Microsoft and Agrimetrics got to do with feeding the world?
“The planet isn’t getting bigger, but the population is: 10 billion in little more than a generation from now. And with more people, and less land to grow food, we need to get more and more out of less.
Agrimetrics is providing the agrifood sector with a unique opportunity to access
data, and data capabilities, that will transform the way we produce food.
“Airbus? They are the world’s biggest supplier of detailed images from space of farmland.
Microsoft? They have amazing AI and machine learning expertise.
Agrimetrics partners with both, pulling together their resources with our domain skills to create a data marketplace to collate, share, monetise and enhance the use of data right across the agri-food sector: doing our bit to help feed the world sustainably.”
