With a professional certification from The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Jacob joins Agrimetrics having previously worked for Farmplan – an industry leading provider of farm management software. Prior to that, he worked in marketing and commercial roles in the consultancy sector, certifying in Prosci, a methodology for enacting organisational and individual behavioural change.
Accustomed to converting complex and difficult-to-define ideas into understandable communications, Jacob will take responsibility for building and delivering Agrimetrics marketing and communications strategy. This includes educating the industry on the potential benefits of new 'web technologies' and unlocking the hidden value of their data.
Jacob's had an eclectic mix of hobbies over the years, from fencing and Thai kick boxing, to rugby and piano lessons; fed up of being stabbed, kicked, tackled and shown up by young children, he now contents himself with squash, rock climbing and the occasional game of golf.
